As Disney gears up to film the latest live action remake of another one of their classics, budding child star Nico Parker is preparing to be thrust into the spotlight after being cast alongside Colin Farrell, Eva Green and Danny DeVito in Tim Burton's Dumbo remake.

Not that Parker is unfamiliar with the limelight, given that she's the daughter of actress Thandie Newton and director/screenwriter Ol Parker. At just 12 years old, the role will mark her screen debut, and alongside fellow newcomer Finley Hobbins, Parker will play one of Farrell's children, who discovers Dumbo's unique ability.
